How To Report Rape


    Rape is defined as the invasion of any part of the body of the victim or of the perpetrator with a sexual organ, or of the anal or genital opening of the victim with any object or any other part of the body by force, coercion, taking advantage of a coercive environment, or against a person incapable of giving genuine consent (International Criminal Court). Date rape is a rape that is committed by the person with whom the victim is on a date. 
Go to police and report about what happened. You have to be having all the evidence with you ; don’t  wash your body, change clothes and don’t urinate. If you do these you will be able to preserve all the evidence of rape.

Don’t fear stigma or blame yourself for the rape.
You might be tested for HIV,STD and pregnancy.
To prevent pregnancy you will need to take emergency pills within 3 – 5 days.
To protect yourself from contracting HIV you will need to take a prolepsis of antiretroviral within 72 hours of exposure.
You will get counseling to heal from the emotional trauma of rape.
You may be introduced to women layers who will support your woman rights and enlighten your awareness.
